They hit bases in Pakistan that were used by the Sunni Muslim terrorist group Jaish al-Adl as a target. Officials in Pakistan spoke out against what they called a “blatant violation” and said that it killed two children.
A person who lives in Pakistan talked about the bombings and said that Sabz Koh, a village close to the border with Iran, was hit. Someone who lives there said, “We hear the sound of explosions and missiles.” He also said, “In the last 5 years, we have never seen any kind of military activists in the area.”
A spokesperson for the Pakistani Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday that it was “even more concerning that this illegal act has taken place despite the fact that there are several channels of communication between Pakistan and Iran.” A lot of people are shocked by the attack because it didn’t seem to be planned.
The attack by Iran comes after many strikes on ships in the Red Sea by Houthi rebels. This has been going on for a while, and many government officials have told the Houthis group to stop taking ships in the Red Sea because it makes it hard to trade and travel through that area.
Even though other countries have tried to stop them, the Houthis have been striking ships for months. Along with other countries, the US and UK forces have fired at Houthi missile sites to try to stop the ships from being taken. The Houthi military says their goal is to stop Israeli ships from crossing because they are trying to control the war between Israel and Gaza. But many other officials don’t see it that way because the Houthi military has been firing at ships that aren’t Israeli.
Many places around the world want to see more violence because of the war between Israel and Hamas. It has also led to other violent acts like this. The United States called the Iranian attack “reckless” and said it showed how likely it is that Iran and Israel will start a war.
A lot of people who live there have talked about the war, the violence in their neighborhoods, and how it affects them. One person who lives in Gaza said, “My house was bombed, and I ran away here without even money.” “We need clothing, food, and bread,” Youssef Abu Ishaq said.
Peace talks are going on between different governments to try to end the fighting or send more help to Israel for Gaza. But there are also problems with this because people aren’t sure what the real goals of some people who are helping the war are.
