Expect temperatures above normal by the middle of the week?!

These past few weeks have been record-breaking cold in the United States thanks to an icy blast that has moved across the country. Some places got as cold as 30 below zero, while others had snow storms. Because of the bad weather, a lot of people lost power.

The FOX Forecast Center says that the cold blast will end on Sunday and that the weather will get warmer after that. Most places in the United States should have above-average temperatures by Friday as part of this “warmup.”

A FOX Weather meteorologist named Craig Herrera talked more about the change, saying, “We’ve been waiting for the warmer conditions.” This coming week, all that cold air will be pushed back up to the north, and we’ll keep these nice, steady, warmer temperatures for at least a week in this area.

The temperatures that are coming up are definitely “warm” compared to the below-freezing weather we’ve been having for the past few weeks.

Weather in some parts of the Midwest has been in the teens or even lower. Soon, it will be above freezing, which can feel like a big change after all the storms and winter weather they’ve had.

From Sunday to Monday, the United States will get warmer, with some places already warmer than usual. In the past few weeks, lows in places like Kansas City have been in the single digits. This weekend, the high will be 43 degrees, which may seem like a big change from the current lows in the single digits. The highs in some parts of the South may even feel like spring, with temperatures in the mid-50s and low-60s.

Florida will see a return to “normal temperatures” this week when temperatures reach 80 degrees by Friday. This is a big change from the 40-degree weather that they had for almost two weeks while this arctic blast passed over the United States and lowered temperatures everywhere.

This warmer weather may not seem “warm” to people in many states, but it is definitely warmer than some of the record-breaking low temperatures we’ve seen lately.
