It has been very cold in many parts of the United States, and this has led to many problems, such as delayed games, closed roads, power outages, and even death. Two-thirds of the country has been hit by this winter storm, and some states have seen temperatures that break records.

United States has had 41 deaths this winter since Sunday due to winter storms and cold, snowy weather. The Tennessee Department of Health reported that 14 of these deaths took place there.

As a huge arctic blast moved through the country not long ago, 30 states were under a winter weather warning, an ice alert, or a winter storm warning. There were as few as 30 degrees below zero in many states.

The weather was cold in many places, and snow fell in New York, Chicago, along the East Coast, and all over the country. The Appalachians, the Ohio Valley, and the Midwest were covered in snow.

There will be less snow in New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. They’re supposed to get between 1 and 3 inches of snow, but some parts of West Virginia, especially in the Appalachian mountain range, are supposed to get over 6 inches.

The winter storm is still moving through, but temperatures are expected to rise a little in some places. This will bring temps from below freezing to mild in some states. The East Coast will get inches of snow, while the West Coast will mostly get rain.

The winter weather has knocked out power and caused trees to fall. In the mountains, where it’s supposed to snow more, avalanches could happen.

In cold weather, staying safe and warm is very important to stay out of harm’s way. Pay attention to cold weather alerts to stay warm and get through the winter storms.
