As with many things in recent history, Democrats and their mates in the mainstream left-wing media have done their best to shut down any notions that the global pandemic appears to have started in China. They stated that it was a natural occurrence and not made up in any way.
Former President Donald Trump said the virus was intentionally leaked or released by the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV). He and many others had to defend themselves against the left and then the director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Dr. Anthony Fauci.
However, FBI Director Christopher Wray told Fox News in a recent interview that the agency “has long evaluated that the origins of the pandemic may be a possible laboratory accident in Wuhan.”
This new attitude from President Joe Biden’s administration led Republican Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa) to punch Wray over data released by Just the News. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said, “[the administration has] real concerns about China’s compliance with biological weapons.”
Just the News ran a story claiming to have reviewed documents that show a trail of money from the State Department and NIH to the WIV, despite evidence linking it to the PRC military. The outlet said it was her investigation of him that gave Perry the ammunition he needed to question Blinken about what he knew and when he knew it in his nearly 30 years in government.
One of the documents analyzed was a 2005 State Department report that concluded that the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA), through its Academy of Military Medical Sciences (AMMS), was working on offensive biological weapons in violation of international treaties. Perry then asked Blinken if he knew that AMMS was “collaborating” with the WIV, which received money from the US government.
In response, the secretary replied that he would not be surprised because “there is little difference between supposedly private organizations and the state.”
Another document reviewed by Just the News was an “unclassified report” released by the House Intelligence Committee in December 2022, which cited another link between the AMMS and WIV from a book titled “The Unnatural Origin of SARS and New Species of Artificial Humanized Viruses as genetic weapons.”
The report stated that the book “described how to create weaponized chimeric SARS coronaviruses”. created, rather than natural. “Some conspiracy theorists may wonder if Fauci read that book.
