Marines Stop Thugs From Committing Theft – Suspect Tackled!

US Marine recruiters took down two suspects in a smash-and-grab robbery in California before they were able to escape the scene. 

In the statement released by the police, it was revealed that the US Marines and other Good Samaritans jumped into action and tackled them, preventing the two robbers from fleeing the scene.

The incident took place after all four suspects attempted to escape the robbery which had occurred at a jewelry store in the Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance, Los Angeles. However, only two of them were able to escape. 

According to the exclusive report published by  Fox News Los Angeles, the suspects who were wearing masks and armed with hammers at the time of the robbery, were caught in the act destroying the glasses and grabbed as much jewelry as they could. 

However, when the four attempted to escape, the marine recruiters and some bystanders jumped into action and took down two suspects to the floor.

In a statement released by a person who captured the robbery on video said in an exclusive interview with the news outlet, it was revealed that “[It was] the Marines. The Marine Corps… They stepped up, they tackled them down. Two got away, two got tackled down, and they stepped it up. That’s enough. Time to fight back.”

Moreover, after the heroic incident went viral, several news outlets confirmed that the recruiting station is only next to where the robbery took place.

Furthermore, authorities confirmed that the two suspects were identified as both minors and were taken into police custody. They also added that they had recovered a large amount of the stolen jewelry from the scene.

Last year, a separate robbery also took place in the US where James Kilcer, a veteran US marine had stopped an attempted armed robbery.

“As the armed suspect walked by Kilcer while pointing the weapon at the cashier, the former officer reacted without hesitation, quickly disarming the suspect and taking him to the ground. He was able to immediately gain control of the gun and detain the suspect until the local police arrived at the spot. As a result, no victims were injured and no property loss was sustained,” Indiana Narrative reported.
