Special Presidential Envoy for Climate Change John Kerry was hilariously interrupted by a farting noise during his speech in the Middle East.
Speaking at the Climate Change Conference in Dubai earlier this month, Kerry was discussing U.S. policy on coal power plants when a crude sound of passing gas could be heard over the microphone.

“There shouldn’t be any more coal-fired power plants permitted anywhere in the world,” he began his speech.
“I find myself getting more and more militant because I do not understand how adults who are in a position of responsibility can be avoiding responsibility for taking away those things that are killing people on a daily basis,” he went on before being interrupted by the farting sound.
According to the New York Post, the climate envoy was speaking next to Becky Anderson, managing editor of CNN Abu Dhabi, and Fatih Birol, executive director of the International Energy Agency.
The embarrassing moment received wild responses, with many alleging that the flatulence came from Kerry.
“The biggest problem is, during this entire exchange, representing us, the United States of America, he ripped a fart out,” Larry O’Connor of Townhall Media said. “He let loose with flatulence on an international stage. He should lose his job immediately. John Kerry farted.”
This comes as Kerry is under fire for traveling by jet despite his supposed green agenda. According to a Fox News report from July 2022, Kerry’s family jet has emitted over 300 metric tons of carbon dioxide since the Biden administration began.
“Kerry’s family jet, a Gulfstream GIV-SP, has made a total of 48 trips lasting more than 60 hours and emitted an estimated 715,886 pounds, or 325 metric tons, of carbon since President Biden was sworn into office, according to federal data obtained by Fox News Digital via FlightAware. The plane belongs to Flying Squirrel LLC., a charter company owned by Kerry’s wife Teresa Heinz-Kerry and in which Kerry reported owning a more than $1 million stake on his most recent financial disclosure,” the news outlet said.
President Joe Biden appointed Kerry to oversee the State Department’s outreach on international climate policy shortly after taking office in January 2021. Since then, Kerry has visited numerous countries for discussions with foreign leaders, United Nations (UN) climate conferences, and the WEF annual meeting.
