First Lady Jill Biden awkwardly defended her husband, US President Joe Biden against allegations that the latter is not mentally fit to be the country’s president.
The recent interview with CNN will reportedly air on Monday at 9 p.m. ET as part of “CNN Primetime: Jill Biden Abroad.”
When Jill was asked what she thinks when “Nikki Haley, one of the Republican candidates, is calling for mental competency tests for those politicians over the age of 75.”
Jill Biden responded that “it’s ridiculous” before adding “would your husband ever take one of those?”
“I mean, we haven’t even discussed. We would never even discuss something like that.” Jill Biden said defensively.

“It’s ridiculous,” Jill Biden replied.

The recent interview came as the Bidens reportedly prepared for a widely expected 2024 presidential campaign with Jill Biden denying all the concerns circulating, surrounding her husband’s age and mental competency.
“How many 30-year-olds could travel to Poland, get on the train? Go nine more hours, go to Ukraine, meet with President (Volodymyr) Zelensky? So, look at the man. Look what he’s doing. Look what he continues to do each and every day.” Jill said.
Moreover, the first lady also responded to questions about whether or not her husband will run for re-election.
“It’s Joe’s decision. And we support whatever he wants to do. If he’s in, we’re there. If he wants to do something else, we’re there too.” Jill said.
Jill’s statement came after former White House physician under Presidents Donald Trump and Barack Obama, Texas Rep. Ronny Jackson criticized Biden’s deteriorating mental health.
According to Jackson, the President himself is the “cancer” and that he “needs to be removed.”
“I’ll start by saying that Biden is the cancer. He’s what needs to be removed, not the lesion they found. They gave us a bunch of useless information about his cholesterol and stuff that no one cares about. All we care about in this country, with regards to President Biden – 80 years old, who’s got some obvious cognitive issues – is a cognitive assessment of some sort,” Jackson lamented..
“We want something, on the record, to prove to us that he is cognitively capable of doing this job. It’s almost a moot point at this stage because we all know he’s not,” he continued.
