Dems Are Suffering From A New Phenomenon

The Democrats appeared to have found another way to deny the consequences of their actions—through a new phenomenon, which critics call “Strategic Amnesia.”

Amid the controversies against Biden and his team, Democrats often forget their guilt of the same behavior so they can put the blame on the demonized Republicans.

For instance, just recently, US President Joe Biden attempted to forget that he accused former President Donald Trump, his supporters and the MAGA Republicans of being the “threat to Democracy.”

“Do you consider all Trump supporters to be a threat to this country?” a reporter asked Biden.

“Come on, look, guys, you keep trying to make that case. I don’t consider any Trump supporter to be a threat to the country. I do think anyone who calls for the use of violence, fails to condemn violence when it is used, refuses to acknowledge when an election has been won, insists upon changing the way in which they can count votes, that is a threat to democracy,” Biden explained.

“When people voted for Donald Trump and support him now, they weren’t voting for attacking the Capitol, they weren’t voting for overruling an election, they were voting for a philosophy he put forward. So I am not talking about anything other than that it is inappropriate and it is not only happening here, but other parts of the world — the failure to recognize and condemn violence whenever it is used for political purposes, failure to condemn any attempt to manipulate election outcomes, failure to acknowledge when an election has been won or lost,” he continued.

Not only that, the president’s strategic amnesia has also affected his memories about how the Democrats handled Trump’s triumph over Hillary Clinton.

After Clinton lost the race, the Democrat Non-Acceptance Caucus denounced Trump as a faux president.

“I know he’s an illegitimate president,” Hillary declared.

Former President Jimmy Carter also spoke up about the result and declared that “Trump didn’t actually win the election in 2016.”

“The Russians participated in helping this man get elected,” the late Congressman John Lewis (D – Georgia), lamented.

It also erased the Dems’ memories of their own post-2016 “Attack on Democracy” after Clinton’s loss had provoked her supporters to clog the streets from coast to coast, carrying placards that read, “We don’t accept the president-elect,” attacking Trump supporters.

“In Oakland, rioters set trash cans, cars, and a building on fire. They smashed store windows, hurt police, and blocked a freeway.” Mollie Hemingway recalled.

Another Trump supporter was also attacked while riding a Bronx subway train and endured an attacker’s attempted strangulation for being “another white Trump supporter” and yet the Dems did nothing to tame their violent supporters.

All these controversies have resurfaced after Biden called Trump, the MAGA Republicans and his supporters a “threat” to the republic.

“Too much of what’s happening in our country today is not normal. Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic,” Biden said in the statement at that time.

“There’s no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans. And that is a threat to this country,” the president added.
