A Texas intruder was shot dead after breaking into a home in San Antonio on Thursday night.
According to the reports, the suspect attempted to break into the house around 10 p.m. while a mother and her three children were in the house.
The mother told the police that she heard someone break into a back room of the house.

The intruder allegedly entered the laundry room and tried to break in the main door when the mother, who is in her 30’s, grabbed her gun and shot the man in his chest.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital through an ambulance where he was declared dead on arrival.
The identity of the suspect hasn’t been released and the shooting is still under investigation.
No other injuries have been reported.
