Georgia State Representative and Atlanta Democrat Shea Roberts slammed after she went on an absolute tirade against Georgians’ rights to defend themselves from an ever-increasing Democrat-created crime.
In the official statement released by Roberts, she claimed that Georgians are “being self-centered for defending our freedom and our rights.”

This came after the Georgia House passed ‘constitutional carry’ law that abolishes the requirements for a “background check or permit to carry a handgun in public,” in which Roberts opposed.
“You’re wanting to relax, what little check we have and why? What for? Because it’s inconvenient for law-abiding citizens to fill out a form?. I just told you the statistics that more than 5,000 people were denied permits likely because of criminal history and mental health. I mean, we don’t know how many people we kept safe by denying those permits.” Roberts argued.
However, Republicans argued that this measure allows people to “protect themselves from crime.” citing the “citing civil unrest seen in some 2020 protests over racial injustice in Atlanta.”
“We need to protect ourselves. And this bill allows us to do so without having to pay money to the government to do it.” HB 1358′s sponsor, House Juvenile Justice Chairwoman Mandi Ballinger, R-Canton, said.
