US Vice President Kamala Harris shares her horrifying vision of what the country will look like if Democrats win the upcoming elections.
“With just two more seats in the Senate, we can codify Roe v. Wade, we can put the protections of Roe in law… with two more seats in the United States Senate we can pass the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. Two more seats!” Kamala declared.
The vice president also carelessly talked about how with the two more seats, the Democrats could finally remove the “archaic” filibuster, one of the sole remaining checks on Democrat power.
“You know, our President Joe Biden, he’s been clear. He’s kinda done with those archaic Senate rules that are standing in the way of those two issues…he’s made that clear and has said that he will not allow that to obstruct those two issues. And, you know, for me, as vice president, I’m also president of the Senate.… I cannot wait to cast the deciding vote to break the filibuster on voting rights and reproductive rights. I cannot wait! Fifty-nine days,” she said.
She then exposed her strategic plans to win and highlighted what the Republicans could do with power if it decided to start wielding it.
“On that point, allow me to lay out two very real scenarios for you. First, imagine, I don’t want to — but imagine if we lost our Democratic majority in the Congress. Republican Party leaders have made it clear they want to ban abortion nationwide and they won’t stop there. Without a Democratic majority in Congress, who knows what other rights they will come after… now, imagine a better future. Imagine what we can do if we defend the five seats we need to hold onto the majority in the House. Imagine what we can do if we protect, and better yet, expand our majority in the Senate. Imagine,” the cackling Vice president claimed.
Harris’ controversial remarks came as border agents blasted her after she claimed that the border is “secure.”
During an interview on Sunday, the Vice president declared that the U.S. southern border is “secure” despite the tens of thousands of illegal immigrants who routinely cross into the country every month.
“I think that there is no question that we have to do what the president and I asked Congress to do, the first request we made: pass a bill to create a pathway to citizenship. The border is secure, but we also have a broken immigration system, in particular, over the last four years before we came in, and it needs to be fixed.” Harris claimed.
Following her remarks, one Border Patrol agent blasted Harris on Tuesday and explained how the 2 million mark directly contradicts Harris’ claim.
“Well, since we have apprehended over 2 million aliens so far this year, which is a record, and the year is not over, and we set a single-day apprehension record just last week, I believe, that does not exactly scream that our borders are secure,” the agent declared.
“It was over 8,000 aliens for one day. That’s what we caught not what we did not see or the gotaways,” the agent added.
