Vice President Kamala Harris sparked public mockery and criticism over her new word salad that went viral on Tuesday.

In her speech during a roundtable discussion with student leaders at Claflin University in South Carolina with Education Secretary Miguel Cardona on Tuesday, Harris started talking about how President Joe Biden’s administration has invested in community banks.

However, during her speech, she appeared to get stuck on the word “community.”

“We invested an additional $12 billion into community banks, because we know community banks are in the community, and understand the needs and desires of that community as well as the talent and capacity of community,” Kamala Harris said in a clip that made its way around social media.

Following Harris’ controversial speech, netizens on Twitter mocked the Vice President for her rambling, circular sentence, a speech habit which now became known as a “word salad.”

In a tweet with a video clip posted by OutKick founder Clay Travis, he said “Kamala Harris, the greatest orator since Winston Churchill, on community banks. Enjoy.”

Another Outkick commentator, Dan Dakich also expressed a similar sentiment, saying “Geezus…prepare at least a little.”

“Profound,” Federalist assistant editor Kylee Griswold jokes.

Screenwriter and columnist Matthew Betley also lamented and said, “You would think by now she’d have a copy editor to say, ‘Maybe we shouldn’t repeat the same word five times in the same sentence.'”

RNC’s Jake Schneider also mocked the Vice President, saying “Do we know if community banks are in the community?”

“If she says community one more time does she win a prize?” Podcaster Nick Givas asked.

This wasn’t the first time that Harris stuck on repeat with a certain word. During her speech at Highland Park, Illinois, the Vice President said, “we’ve got to take this stuff seriously, as seriously as you are because you have been forced to take this seriously,” referring to the mass shooting at an Independence Day parade that left seven people dead.

She also did the same during her visit to Louisiana last March.

“We were all touring the library here and talking about the significance of the passage of time, right? The significance of the passage of time. So when you think about it, there is great significance to the passage of time in terms of what we need to do to lay these wires, what we need to do to create these jobs. And there is such great significance to the passage of time when we think about the day of the life of our children.” Harris declared.
