An illegal immigrant from Honduras is back again in the United States after being deported three times for multiple crimes committed.
42-year-old illegal alien, Juan Rodriguez Alfaro has reportedly been arrested in the sanctuary county of Fairfax County, Virginia for his alleged involvement in 21 sexual assaults.
The police revealed that Alfaro was arrested last week on charges that he allegedly carried out “multiple sexual assaults on women and girls on a nature trail in Fairfax County,” police report revealed.
“Police said Alfaro is possibly linked to at least 21 sexual assaults in the area and in some cases, they said he was naked. Before his arrest, in a separate 2021 case, Alfaro was wanted for attempted rape and sexual assault in Suffolk County, New York — another sanctuary jurisdiction,” the Breitbart news revealed.
Moreover, in the statement released by Suffolk County police, the illegal alien allegedly attacked and attempted to rape a woman who was jogging while he was allegedly wearing only a tank top at the time.
According to the officials at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency, at the time the sexual assault in New York was reported, Alfaro had already been deported from the U.S. three times.
“Like New York state, Fairfax County has sanctuary policies on the books that prevent local law enforcement from turning criminal illegal aliens over to ICE agents for arrest and deportation,” the report added.
Early September, the Herndon Police Department also said that Alfaro had also been charged with obscene sexual display and sexual battery stemming from an incident on Aug. 26.
The police report revealed that a naked man approached a woman from behind on the trail and grabbed her around the waist.
“Through witness interviews, video provided to us from the community, and tips from Town of Herndon residents, detectives from our Criminal Investigations Section developed suspect leads that ultimately led them to Rodriguez Alfaro. They then shared this information with investigators from Fairfax County Police Department, which provided them the evidence they needed to pursue charges in similar incidents that occurred in their jurisdiction,” the Herndon Police Department said. “
At the time of writing, Alfaro is in police custody in Fairfax County.
ICE officials have filed a request to detain Alfaro and be turned to their custody if he is released at any time.
However, as a result of their sanctuary policies, they are likely to deny the request.
“Detectives are continuing to review evidence to confirm Alfaro Rodriguez’s involvement in other cases,” the Fairfax County Police Department said and asked the community members residing in the area to please “review home surveillance for any suspicious activity.”
