US President Joe Biden made a series of embarrassing and really head-scratching statements while delivering his remarks in Puerto Rico on Monday after the recent hurricane struck the island.
The president started his speech with “My name is Joe Biden and I don’t want the headline to read ‘Biden brings storm to Puerto Rico’ so I may have to cut this a little short.”
Apparently, this went viral and sparked public criticisms on social media, with netizens ridiculing him for his opener that was supposed to be a joke.

“Jill is so tense, waiting for his next blunder. She knows,” a netizen said.
“Lol! It’s ok Brandon you manage to make your own ridiculous headlines you don’t need our help,” another netizen added.
“Totally lost in space!!!”
Moreover, Biden made another embarrassing statement after claiming that he was raised in the Puerto Rican community at home.
“I was sort of raised in the Puerto Rican community at home, politically.” Biden claimed.
The people then blasted Biden for his another gaffe.
“Oh…so you’re Puerto Rican this week. Next week..what? Italian? Greek? Russian? Enough with this guy,” a netizen lamented.
“So now he thinks he’s a Puerto Rican?” another netizen added.
Biden’s statement sparked outrage after he previously presented himself as a member of the Civil Rights movement even though he was not and lied about being arrested with Nelson Mandela after fighting a guy named Corn Pop.
“This attempt at pandering is especially weird, though, given that Puerto Rico falls under the First Circuit Court of Appeals and has since 1915. Pennsylvania is part of the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Yet, in that clip, he claims to have visited Puerto Rico for “business” as a lawyer working in the Third Circuit. That doesn’t make any sense,” the RedState news website said,
in its Opinion article.
Biden also appeared to be confused after he delivered confusing remarks during his speech.
“New York sent not only a Congresswoman one of the most congresswoman in the Congress…” Biden said.
He also tried to pronounce a word in Spanish but things didn’t go well.
“Help me with the pronunciation: Martín Peña that entire ecosystem and we’re gonna clean up polluted waters and restore mitigation habit, manmangrow habitat, mangro habitats.” Biden added.
