The Russian president, Vladimir Putin, is said to have recently set aside a piece of land for himself that is only 18 miles from the border of a NATO member state.
Ilya Rozhdestvenskiy, a reporter for the Dossier Center, said more about how the plan was found: “We don’t know for sure what this site is for, but based on satellite images, it only showed up in the last couple of years.”
Rozhdestvenskiy went on to say what this piece of land might be: “It’s possible that an air defense system is being shown off here…”It’s not the first time that marks on the ground, like military equipment dropped from the air to help troops in battle, have kept the president safe.
The land is in Karelia, a region that borders Finland. It’s a 1-kilometer piece of land next to a 3-kilometer forest that is fenced in. Putin and his 40-year-old dancer lover live on this piece of land together.
There is a brewery, a tearoom, a bathhouse, a fishery, a farm, and a pool or pond inside the house. A lake and a waterfall are also private to the land. The property is said to have a helipad, an underground entrance, and a pier for yachts.
The land around the spot is fenced off and watched over by security guards and cameras. An American fisherman who had just visited the land was stopped by security and asked why he was there. Someone also said that people who lived close to the land were paid to leave, which they did.
A lot of Putin’s friends and followers are said to own land, restaurants, or other places near this plot of land. Putin doesn’t have to go that far to spend time with people he knows.
