American Rockstar Kid Rock reveals that he’s open to the idea of running for the office to serve his fellow Americans.
In 2017, the legendary rock music artist was teased by the public to run for a seat in the senate but he refused and argued that he wanted to stick to music.
However, just recently, Rock revealed that the thought of becoming an elected official is still in his mind.
“F*ck no, I’m not running for Senate, are you kidding me? Who couldn’t figure that out? I’m releasing a new album. I’m going on tour, too. Are you f*ck sh*tting me?” Rock told Howard Stern in October 2017.
In an exclusive interview with Tucker Carlson, Rock expressed his interest in running for public office.

“One day, if I ever thought – if I was bored, sitting around – really thought I could serve my country and help them out, stir things up a little bit and do what’s right, I’d have to take a hard look at it,” the rock star said.
In January, the Republicans in the Congress reportedly encouraged Rockstar to run for a Tennessee House seat in the 2022 midterms.
The Politico published a report stating that “some MAGA members of Congress are recruiting Kid Rock to run in Tennessee’s 5th Congressional District.”
The Republicans’ push was reportedly fueled by the 2018 report when Rock “has flirted with wading into politics since former President Trump took office, most notably by teasing a 2018 Senate run in Michigan.” The Rollingstone reported.
According to the reports, Kid Rock allegedly sold “Kid Rock for U.S. Senate” merchandise and created a campaign website.
The musician also made headlines at that time. However, he made it clear that he was not running for office and admitted it was just one big ploy to boost sales.
Kid Rock is also known for the song he recently released this year where he blasted President Joe Biden, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Facebook, Twitter, TMZ and the media as he addresses hot button issues like COVID-19, inflation, and Black Lives Matter.
“Wear your mask, take your pills, Now a whole generation’s mentally ill,” Rock sings toward the beginning of the song which goes on to say “(Hey-yeah) man, F— Fauci (Hey-yeah). But COVID’s near, it’s coming to town. We gotta act quick, shut our borders down. Joe Biden does, the media embraces. Big Don does it and they call him racist.”
