Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s home was swatted after a prank call early Wednesday morning, according to reports.

The incident occurred when Rome police officials were dispatched to what turned out to be Greene’s home at around 1 a.m. local time after an emergency call made through a Virginia crisis line referred to a male who had been shot five times in a bathtub.

The call, which was listed in Richmond, Virginia, also mentioned that a female and children were inside the home.

Numerous officers then assembled and rang the doorbell. They were greeted “by the victim (Greene)”, who assured authorities that there was no issue and that a “keep check” would be done on the residence.

Another suspect later made a call and allegedly told police that they made the original 911 call using a computer-generated voice, explaining “that they were trying to SWAT her” in relation to the first-term representative’s statements regarding “transgender youth rights.”

The suspect reportedly said they were affiliated with a cyberstalking website called kiwifarm.net and included their username “AltisticRight.”

Greene, who is running for reelection this year, tweeted Wednesday that “she was swatted just after 1 a.m.” and expressed her gratitude to the police. “Swatting” often refers to the act of sending law enforcement officers to an unsuspecting victim’s home under false pretenses.

“Right now, Congresswoman Greene’s safety is our number one concern,” said Greene spokesperson Nick Dyer, adding that “whoever committed this violent crime will face the full extent of the law.”

The Rome Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division and Capitol Police are currently investigating the incident. No further information is being released at this time due to it being an active investigation.

This comes weeks after the FBI raided former President Donald Trump’s private residence at Mar-a-Lago, during which Greene suggested authorities “planted evidence” on Trump’s property and has also tweeted to “defund the FBI.”

“These are the enemies within, these are the real enemies, and they are there to purposely create something against President Trump that is not there,” the Georgia Republican said on her MTG:Live online show two weeks ago.
