White House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s violent side has been exposed after a video clip of her vowing to “punch” former US President Donald Trump was leaked on social media.
A video footage of Pelosi on January 6, which the people had never seen before, has emerged on social media recently.
In the video, furious Pelosi can be seen warning that if ex-President Donald Trump marched on the US Capitol, she would “punch him out” and then happily go to jail for it.
Pelosi claimed that “it’s very dangerous what he’s doing.” She then went on and jokingly shared with her aides to relay to Trump “if he comes here, we’re going to the White House,” which draws laughter.
Speaker Nancy Pelosi then looked out the window onto the Mall and said to the large crowd of Trump’s followers, “They’re marching up.”
After that, her chief of staff Terry McCullough then told her that the Secret Service had dissuaded Trump from coming to Capitol Hill.
McCullouh claimed that they do not have the resources to protect him there, but she notes “that could change.”
“If he comes, I’m gonna punch him out. I’ve been waiting for this, for trespassing on the Capitol grounds. I’m gonna punch him out, and I’m gonna go to jail and I’m gonna be happy.” Pelosi claimed.
The video was reportedly obtained exclusively by Pelosi’s daughter herself, Alexandra Pelosi, who is also a documentary filmmaker.
The video was later aired on Thursday after what could be the final hearing by the House Jan. 6 committee.
“The clip opens with Pelosi (D-Calif.) in her office watching the one-term president delivering an incendiary speech during his “Stop the Steal” rally, in which he vowed to never concede the election and urged his supporters to “walk down to the Capitol,” the New York Post reported.
During the said Thursday’s hearing, the House committee reportedly footage of Pelosi and other congressional leaders pleading for help during the assault on the Capitol.
“They’re breaking the law in many different ways and quite frankly, much of it at the instigation of the president of the United States.” Pelosi lamented.
