A new poll from NBC suggests that President Joe Biden could be in danger of losing the 2024 presidential election.
During the network’s “Meet the Press” program, host Chuck Todd presented alarming new numbers that show only a few Americans approve of Biden’s economic plan, dubbed “Bidenomics.”
“The American public is just not feeling it. Just 34% of Americans approve of Biden’s handling of the economy and only 20% of voters believe the nation is on the right track,” Todd said. “Biden is trying to persuade voters that the economy is better than they think it is.”
Critics have blasted Bidenomics for having little to no effect on hard-working Americans. The president’s uninspired economic plan will also cause High mortgage rates, skyrocketing inflation, collapsed banks, expensive groceries, record-high rent, and dwindling retirement accounts.
“The 30-year fixed mortgage rate has now risen 31 basis points in just the past week. For a homebuyer taking out a $400,000 mortgage, the monthly payment of principal and interest rose to $2,720 from $2,637 in just one week,” CNBC reported.
Furthermore, a survey conducted by the Associated Press shows that only 21 percent of adults express confidence in Biden’s performance. Among them, 36 percent are Democrats, whereas only 7 percent are Republicans.
Meanwhile, only 24 percent of the population looks at the economy in a positive light, with a staggering 76 percent considering it in a state of decline.
“Biden’s handling of specific issues: Negative views on national economy, gun policy, and immigration; only a third approve. Slightly more positive on student loans,” the AP noted of the president’s performance.
“Partisan divide: Approval of the president and specific issues remains highly partisan. Older adults and college graduates more likely to approve of Biden’s handling of economy and gun policy compared to younger or less educated individuals,” the news outlet continued.
Biden, however, doesn’t appear phased by his terrible numbers, as he expects that Democrats will use the same game plan they used in 2020: nominate an unpopular candidate, run the campaign from the basement, hold a few small rallies, mail millions of ballots, deliver ballots late at night after the deadline, keep tally-ups going for days after the election, and keep Republican workers out of the counting rooms.
