More dead bodies are being dumped along Mexican Border city highway amid the border crisis under the Biden administration.
The 10-mile stretch of highway in the Mexican border city of Reynosa was turned into a dumping site for dead bodies by Cartel gunmen, data says.
In a report released by the BreitBart news, “so far this year, gunmen have dumped, buried, or burned 15 victims that have been found by authorities.”
Along the road of Viaducto Reynosa that runs about 10 miles on the south side of the city is a site where bodies were disposed of, reportedly near a state police substation.
On Tuesday afternoon, the authorities received a 911 call about a body that was spotted on fire at the south of the highway. It was reportedly the most recent dumping incident.
However, it reportedly took the police about three hours to arrive at the scene and locate the smoldering remains of a man who had been set on fire next to a stack of tires.
“After a report from C5, elements of the state police @SSP_GobTam found a recently burned body in a gap next to the Viaduct and Ave. Las Torres in #Reynosa. There is data from the vehicle that is possibly responsible for the homicide. Investigative police @FGJ_Tam opens file.” Translated statement from a twitter user named El Guzman.
Authorities also claimed that the victim has not been identified yet.
Reports also added that the local fire department was called to help the authorities put out the flames before documenting the crime scene.
In a separate incident on Tuesday, authorities also found a body wrapped in trash bags and dumped along Viaducto Reynosa near a rural community known as Anacuas.
According to the reports, social media posts have led the authorities to the gruesome discovery.
In a report published by Breitbart Texas, the local media revealed that they “consulted with law enforcement sources in Tamaulipas and learned there have been cases in the past of bodies being dumped along Viaducto Reynosa.”
“The primary reason is that the area is on the south side and outside of peak traffic hours, the road sees little traffic. The region is also surrounded by open fields.” The report added.
