Former First Lady Melania Trump slams the Media over “dishonest reporting” following the attacks to smear her “charitable efforts”.
In a tweet posted by Trump, she responded to the reports circulating against her, claiming that the Media are doing “Dishonest reporting at it again.”
“Everything has been done lawfully, & all documents are in the works. Read with caution – typical corrupt media. We are working with Bradley Impact Fund, a Donor-Advised Fund, to select charities that will receive the donations to foster children,” she added.
The former first lady’s frustration came after another news outlet posted an article that screamed, “Melania Trump being investigated for skirting charity laws in Florida.”

This came after the New York Times made a story about the Trumps’ various “money-making” ventures.
In the news articles published by the news outlet, Times wrote about a high tea event that was listed on the charity fundraising platform Vast, benefiting the initiative of Mrs. Trump’s Be Best program called “Fostering the Future.”
According to Times, “Tables to the April event run $3,000 per ticket, with VIP table sponsorships going for $50,000 a pop. Proceeds from the afternoon with Melania will provide computer-science scholarships for kids who have been in the foster care system.”
“There was no indication of how much of the proceeds Mrs. Trump herself intended to pocket. Florida requires any organization that raises charitable contributions in the state to register. No charity with the name ‘Fostering the Future’ or ‘Be Best’ is registered in Florida.” the times added.
The article also added: “Asked about the solicitation, officials at the Florida agency that oversees charitable fund-raising said they also could not find evidence of the required state registration and had opened an inquiry as a result,”
Amid the controversy between Trump and the Media, a platform called the InfluenceWatch made it clear that Trump was working with the Bradley Impact Fund (BIF), arguing that it “allows individual donors to open accounts, after which the donors can then recommend grant disbursements to qualified nonprofits.”
“BIF ‘performs professional evaluation of potential grantees to ensure donor contributions make the desired impact and uphold donor intent,’” the InfluenceWatch stated.
