Many Kias and Hyundais have been recalled, but they are still on the road?!

A few months ago, both Kia and Hyundai recalled more than three million cars in the US. They said that the cars should be left outside and away from buildings because they could catch fire with or without the engines running.

But after months, it looks like all of these cars are still on the road and haven’t been fixed. This puts everyone around the car in danger, not just the drivers. For months after the recall was made, both Hyundai and Kia said they didn’t think they’d be able to fix all of the cars.

The car companies said this was necessary because this is the biggest recall they’ve ever done, involving a lot of cars. Also, they said that these fires mostly started when brake fluid leaked onto the computer boards and caused a short. The short then lit the brake fluid on fire.

Hyundai and Kia both said they are having trouble getting enough of the parts they need to fix the problem. They also said that some of the cars involved are well-known ones, like the Hyundai Santa Fe and the Kia Forte.

The companies saying the recall happened said that at least “56 vehicle fires started” because of it, but no deaths have been recorded.

Because of this, a lot of people are afraid about how safe these cars are, especially since they are still on the road without being fixed. Many people have said that repairs for recalls are normally done a few weeks after the news comes out, but it’s been months in this case. People who care about auto safety are urging companies to make a choice and fix these problems as soon as possible.
