Left-Wing Election Analysts FREAK OUT Over Poll Showing Trump Up Big

Democrats are melting down over a poll that shows that former President Donald Trump could beat President Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential election.

According to a survey conducted by ABC News and the Washington Post, Biden’s approval ratings are in the gutter, as 44 percent of respondents said that they’ve gotten worse off financially under his administration.

Just 37 percent also approve of the president’s performance, while a whopping 56 percent say otherwise.

Meanwhile, Trump’s rating has improved in retrospect. When he left office in January 2021, His approval number was 38 percent. But currently, looking back, 48 percent say that they approve of his performance during his time as president.

Left-wing political analysts then went on a sad, desparate rant dismissing the poll. Larry Sabato, the political scientist widely known for his “Crystal Ball” predictions, called it an “outlier” that is not representative of a much closer race.

“Ignore the Washington Post – ABC poll,” Sabato wrote on X. “It’s a ridiculous outlier (Trump up 10 over Biden—laughable). My question: How could you even publish a poll so absurd on its face? Will be a lingering embarrassment for you,” Sabato wrote on the social media platform X.

“I do have a fairly major quibble with ABC/Post here: if you release consecutive ‘outlying’ poll results — R+7 in May, R+10 today — you don’t get to dismiss your results,” New York Times chief political analyst Nate Cohn replied on X. “If it happens twice in a row in the same race, it’s clear that this is the result of some element of your approach, and either you either need to decide you’re good with it and defend it or you need to go home.”

Despite every Democratic trick to put Trump down, it seems that he will be the one to face Biden next year, as a separate poll reveals that Trump is the leading pick as the Republican presidential candidate.

The Economist and YouGov asked around 1,500 U.S. adult citizens between August 26 and 29 who they would vote for if “the Republican presidential primary in your state were held today.”

According to the results, 51 percent are in favor of Trump, while Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis comes in second with 14 percent.
