Just now, the judge in charge of Hunter Biden’s tax case said that the case will not be thrown out but will instead go to trial.

Eight times, U.S. District Judge Mark Scarsi turned down requests to throw out the case against the son of Vice President Joe Biden on tax fraud charges. Police say that President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, planned a way to avoid paying more than $1 million in taxes.

Hunter Biden has said he is not guilty of all the felonies and misdemeanors he is being charged with. He has an attorney named Abbe Lowell who has said that the move is political.

There was no reason for Judge Scarsi to throw out the case. He said, “Defendant fails to present a reasonable inference, let alone clear evidence, of discriminatory effect and discriminatory purpose.”

His lawyers said that the way the case was handled was strange and out of the ordinary. They said, “We strongly disagree with the court’s decision and will continue to vigorously pursue Mr. Biden’s challenges.”

Judge Scarsi said that the defense was not sure of what they were saying, and he also threw out the claims about when the charges were made and IRS leaks.

Hunter Biden is also accused of lying on a government form in order to get a gun. There were years of investigations that led to both sets of charges. Biden was meant to make a deal at the end of those investigations.

A federal judge in Delaware had doubts about the deal, which caused the investigation and hearing to go on. Hunter Biden will spend seventeen years in jail if he is found guilty of tax fraud.
