Newly released information from Hunter Biden’s laptop has raised questions about Joe Biden’s involvement in his son’s business deals during his time as vice president.
The revelations suggest that Joe Biden may have carried a satellite phone paid for by his son’s business, which could potentially provide evidence of his connection to Hunter Biden’s ventures, contradicting his previous denials.
While Hunter Biden evaded jail time for tax evasion charges, there remains a cloud of uncertainty surrounding his activities.
On June 25, Peter Schweizer, representing the Government Accountability Institute, a conservative watchdog group, shared with Fox News that Joe Biden carried a satellite phone during his vice presidency that was financed by his son’s business.
“It’s interesting, what is the line of communications between Hunter Biden and his business partners and Joe Biden when he’s vice president of the United States? It’s not the government phone, it’s not Joe Biden’s personal phone,” Schweizer said in a statement.
“We know from the laptop that Hunter Biden’s business paid for a private phone line that Joe Biden used while he was vice president. It was from AT&T, it was $300 a month, it was a global phone where you could access somebody anywhere around the world,” he added.

The extent of Joe Biden’s involvement in Hunter Biden’s controversial career has been a subject of debate. Although the president maintains that he had no engagement in his son’s business dealings, allegations persist that Hunter Biden exploited his father’s influence.
IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley Jr. reveals an incident in 2017 where Hunter Biden, while speaking to a Chinese businessman he sought financial support from, allegedly claimed, “I am sitting here with my father.”
He further issued a threat, warning that if the requested call regarding the money was ignored, the person on the other end of the line would face consequences from Joe Biden and everyone he knew.
Schweizer emphasizes the importance of understanding why Joe Biden carried the satellite phone. While the phone possessed the capability to make calls worldwide, it was not a government-issued device and thus could not have been used for official purposes.
Schweizer hopes that investigators will subpoena the phone records to identify the individuals who communicated with Joe Biden through the device. If it is discovered that he received calls from his son’s business associates, this would significantly bolster recent allegations that the Bidens were offered $5 million each by a Ukrainian-linked businessman.
