The Federal Bureau of Investigation is being accused of violating the First Amendment of the American Constitution for forcing a social media giant to undermine free speech.

According to the reports, Constitutional experts are claiming that the FBI should be challenged in court on the grounds that they took sides in political matters through suppression of the free speech of the American citizens.

The remarks of the legal experts came after the journalist Matt Taibbi with the authorization of new Twitter CEO Elon Musk, released Twitter Files, exposing the former administration of the social media giant.

In a report released by the Conservative Cardinal, it was revealed that the Twitter files had exposed “Twitter’s former head of Safety, Yoel Roth for meeting with the officials of the DHS, FBI, and Director of National Intelligence to discuss the suppression of so-called misinformation before the 2020 presidential elections.”

The journalist also posted a series of screenshots, showing the internal communication of Twitter.

In the communication, the law enforcement agency allegedly forced the social media platform to take action against two tweets about voter fraud.

As a result of the FBI’s request, Twitter put a label below one of the tweets and asked the people to learn how safe and secure voting is in America.

Furthermore, the “newly released screenshots also revealed that Twitter’s current policy director, Nick Pickles, discussed with his employee how Twitter curbs misinformation in collaboration with the FBI and DHS” and the “Twitter’s former deputy general counsel, Jim Baker, started his job on Twitter after serving in a controversial position in the FBI.”

The reports came after Elon Musk fired Baker earlier this month for allegedly playing a huge role in suppressing the Americans’ free speech which sparked public debate on various issues.

Following the exposé, Senator Ron Johnson released a statement, claiming that “It wasn’t just Twitter that sabotaged the disclosure of Hunter Biden’s corruption. It was Democrats in Congress. It was FBI leadership. It was members of the intelligence community. There is a much larger story here than just the Twitter files.”

However, despite all the issues and concerns, targeting the FBI’s controversial role in suppressing free speech, the White House still denied allegations, claiming that it did not pressure Twitter to censor any information.
