“Euphoria” Actress was slammed by Far-left trolls on social media over her family’s political views.

Emmy-nominated actress Sydney Sweeney was under attack on social media after a series of photos posted from her mother’s 60th birthday.

According to the reports, one of the guests who attended her mother’s birthday was wearing a pro-police t-shirt, while other visitors were wearing red hats that said: “Make Sixty Great Again.”

The controversy surfaced after several netizens linked the red hats to former President Donald Trump’s campaign slogan “Make America Great Again,” in 2016.

In response to the criticisms, the actress posted on Twitter and said, “You guys this is wild. An innocent celebration for my mom’s milestone 60th birthday has turned into an absurd political statement, which was not the intention. Please stop making assumptions. Much love to everyone and Happy Birthday Mom!”

Moreover, another Twitter user also lamented and went far by saying “if you’re white and unwilling to completely shame your parents for their conservative views, you’re just as complicit.”

The controversy immediately circulated with the media industry covering it “According to leftists, even before 2020, supporting police officers is somehow a bad thing. Can’t people have different views and opinions in the United States of America? For the far-left, the First Amendment only exists for them, and anybody who disagrees with their ludicrous views will be canceled,” RedState blasted in an Opinion article.

The cancel culture in the US is really getting out of hand. In fact, this wasn’t the first time that netizens tried cancelling the actress.

Last June, Sweeney was blasted for her outfit at the MTV Movie and TV Awards.

In a piece written by Kerry Justich, it was revealed that several social media users and “body acceptance advocates” were upset about Sweeney’s outfit.

“Why Sydney Sweeney’s micromini outfit feels like a threat to body positivity: ‘So coveted yet unachievable.’”

“Sydney Sweeney had her toned midriff on full display at the MTV Movie and TV awards where she wore a micro-miniskirt paired with a super-cropped collared top by Miu Miu … While the low-rise trend has already been seeing a resurgence, the red carpet moment is triggering a response from people who’d like to leave it in the past.”
