A Far-left activist in Brooklyn was brutally attacked and stabbed to death near NYC Bus stop
The victim was identified as 32-year-old Ryan Carson, a passionate advocate for social justice and climate change.
The horrifying attack occurred at around 4 a.m. at the intersection of Lafayette Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard.
Ryan, who had been attending a wedding with his girlfriend, was waiting at a bus stop when the assailant, displaying erratic behavior, confronted him with the chilling question, “What are you looking at?” The confrontation led to a fatal stabbing.
Despite efforts to save him, Ryan Carson was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital. However, the suspect remains at large at the time of writing.
Following the tragic loss of Ryan Carson, tributes have poured in from friends and acquaintances on various social media platforms. Prominent figures in the political and activist communities have expressed their condolences and shared memories of Ryan.
New York Democrat State Assembly Member Emily Gallagher mourned the loss of her dear friend, describing Ryan’s work with NYPIRG and his advocacy organization, “No OD NY.”
“I am devastated to share that my dear friend Ryan Carson, who worked for NYPIRG and created the advocacy organization “No OD NY”, was murdered last night. I met Ryan many years ago through the DIY punk scene and he has been a trusted friend in Albany and at home. I miss him.” Gallagher said.
“Our team was devastated to hear of Ryan Carson’s passing today. Ryan was a dedicated environmental advocate who worked tirelessly to protect our communities and ecosystems from the climate crisis. I send my condolences to all of his family and loved ones who are grieving.” NYC Council member Sandy Nurse added.
Moreover, Chi Ossé, another NYC member, expressed horror at the brutal murder of Ryan Carson and pledged support for ending senseless violence, expressing sympathy for his family.

The New York Public Interest Research Group Fund (NYPIRG), where Ryan was a key member, also issued a heartfelt statement, emphasizing his long-standing commitment to their causes and his contributions as a campaign organizer.
This tragic incident follows other violent crimes targeting individuals associated with the Democratic community.
Among them, leftist Philadelphia journalist Josh Kruger lost his life in a fatal shooting at his home, raising concerns about safety and security in the broader context of these events.
