Conservative Hollywood star Jon Voight said on Tuesday that President Joe Biden is trying to “systematically eliminate” former President Donald Trump’s “progress.”
During an interview on Newsmax’s “Rob Schmitt Tonight,” Voight discussed the social decline impacting California.
“We had President Trump take a look at the problems when he came into office, and he solved them one after the other because he’s a person who’s a doer and he’s a problem-solver,” he told host Rob Schmitt. “And now, we have another person in office, and they’re systematically eliminating all of the progress that [Trump] made.”
“They don’t know what right and wrong is,” the actor continued. “It seems like something simple like that, you know. So, they [California authorities] pass on [punishing] people who are dangerous to the community, and we’ve seen lots of unfortunate things happen. A lot of people have been victimized by so many people, and then they put them back on the streets too.”
Despite his concerns, the actor said that he is optimistic ahead of the midterm elections in November: “Little by little, it’s going to turn around.”
Voight, 83, previously released a two-minute video condemning the FBI for raiding Trump’s private residence at Mar-a-Lago last August.
“Did they ever attack Obama’s home or Clinton’s? the actor asked, according to the video. “And why not? Because President Trump knows that the swamp are all lies and he once drowned them, and they’re all afraid you will see the truths. Wake up America, see this lie.”
He then claimed that Democrats have turned the situation into a war with its ridiculous attacks on Trump, stating: “My friends, the deceit will surely die, for no man shall turn truths for their ego, for their unrighteousness. Because our witness will surely condemn this war. The third world war. Yes, it’s been turned into a war.”
Voight ended his video by reiterating his support for Trump and calling for Americans to stand by him.
“This is America and my fellow Americans, I’m proud to be an American, and I know that we will be saved, that there is a plan,” he exclaimed. “That the one president who had our true trust was President Donald Trump, and he will do it all over again. With the prayers, the hope, the love, the trust of all the American people once again, may God watch over all and make this land great again.”
Democrats are fearing that the infighting and dissatisfaction with the Biden administration could cost them their majority in both houses of Congress during the midterms.
