A family from Tennessee were horrified after a suspicious Apple AirTag was found, tracking a 16-year old, while enjoying a day out in Disney World Florida.
According to the reports, the family’s daughter, who was identified as Madison Gaston, had been tracked by the device for at least 4 hours, while having fun in Disney’s Magic Kingdom park with the entire family.
However, as the family were about to get into their car in a parking lot, the teenager had realized something had been tracking her after she received an alert on her iPhone.
Reports revealed that Madison had been monitored by the tracker, picking up all the locations they had visited all the way to their car from 7:09pm to 11:33pm.
“We were terrified, we were confused, hurt and scared. She [Madison] literally watched it follow us from the tram all the way back to our vehicle.” Madison’s mother Jennifer said.
“It showed the first destination where it was detected with her, then it basically draws a line and makes the connections of the points where she had been,” the frightened mom added.
Upon knowing that the tracker had recorded the locations that they had visited, they immediately searched their clothes, pockets and car to find it. The family also reportedly called the police before getting into the car to drive home.
“As she was refreshing it, it showed the AirTag was still in our parking spot so somehow when we were frantically shaking out clothes and dumping everything out of our bags it fell out,” Madison’s mom explained.
