Shocking video reveals several Disney executives and employees discussing how they would further push the company’s LGBTQ agenda into their media content and theme parks.
During Wednesday’s “The Rubin Report,” BlazeTV host Dave Rubin played a compilation of videos obtained by investigative journalist Christopher Rufo from a Walt Disney Company “all-hands” meeting.
In the leaked video, Disney’s diversity and inclusion manager Vivian Ware exposed how the company has been slowly eliminating any gendered language, including the words “ladies,” “gentlemen,” “boys,” and “girls.”
Karey Burke, corporate president of Disney, said that she wants half of Disney’s “regular and recurring characters” to be either minorities or queer.
Executive producer Latoya Raveneau also admitted to adding queer characters to children’s programming “wherever [she] could” and that no own would stop her.
“It’s important to know what these people are doing,” Dave said of the videos. “This has nothing to do with being prejudiced towards gay people. This has nothing to do with breaking up gay families, or not allowing a kid to say ‘I have two dads’, or that the parents can’t come to the play at the school, or anything else. This is about transparency in education and making sure that state employees cannot infect children with whatever their ideas are and then hide it from the parents.”
This comes after Disney CEO Bob Chapek last week condemned the controversial Parental Rights in Education bill after being forced by outraged liberals to do so.
“We were opposed to the bill from the outset,” said Chapek. “But we chose not to take a public position on it because we thought we could be more effective working behind the scenes, engaging directly with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle.”
The bill has already passed through the Florida legislature and is on its way to state Governor Ron DeSantis’ desk for his signature. DeSantis responded to Chapek’s claims by blasting the “false media narrative” that Disney is pushing.
According to Florida Politics, the bill is meant to reinforce parents’ rights in public education but the left has labeled it the “Don’t Say Gay” bill despite the word “gay” never being used in the legislation.
“[It] restricts discussions of sexual orientation or gender identity to only those that are age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate for students while prohibiting a school district from encouraging discussions of these topics in primary grades,” said in a legislative summary analysis of the bill.
