Fox reporter Bill Melugin another troubling video showing roughly 1,000 migrants rushing to the port of entry in El Paso, Texas.
In the recent tweet, Melugin posted a series of videos that captured moments when the migrants stormed the US-Mexico border amid the border crisis under the Biden administration.
“BREAKING: Our contact in Juarez, MX tells us a massive group of at least 1,000 migrants just attempted to rush a port of entry in El Paso in an effort to get into the United States. Video shows them pushing past the Mexican side of Paso Del Norte bridge. Awaiting CBP comment,” Melugin tweeted.
“Another video from our contact. We’re told some crowd control measures were used (unclear which side of border), and a chunk of the group was repelled, and is now gathering at another smaller bridge, while some are trying to cross in the river. Waiting for more details from CBP,” he added moments later.
This came after migrants said in the past that they felt emboldened to come to the United States illegally since President Joe Biden is so “welcoming” to them.

The recent videos came after reports revealed that hundreds of migrants started streaming onto the Paso Del Norte bridge from Juárez because of a sign that reportedly said “Feliz Viaje,” or “Happy travels.”
In a report published by Mexican outlet Norte Digital, the sign reportedly sparked a rumor that the border was finally opened to provide illegal migrants fast-tracked political asylum in the US.
Fox News revealed in its exclusive report that “many, including elderly and young kids, started running and appealed for others to follow as they raced up the bridge leading to El Paso, Texas. The group which Fox estimated was at least 1,000 mostly Venezuelan migrants — then clamored to be let in through gates at the border crossing, with some standing on vehicles as traffic was halted for hours.”
“Some appeared to try to get past barbed wire while others prayed and begged to be let through,” the report continued.
The incident also prompted the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents to implement “port hardening measures” due to “a potential threat to make a mass entry.”
“Images show officers in riot gear on both sides of the border standing off with the mass of hopeful crossers being kept behind barbed wire. Some migrants claim they were hit with pepper spray to keep them back,” Fox News continued.
Amid the controversy, Republican leaders slammed Biden, with Texas Senator John Cornyn alleging that President Biden failed “to work with congressional leaders to stem the flow of migrants.”
“I think part of the president’s policies are attracting more illegal immigration and what the Border Patrol calls ‘pull factors’, in other words, the perception that there are no consequences associated with coming here outside of legal immigration channels,” Cornyn lamented.
