US troops may be moved to Europe soon and to NATO countries if Russia begins to make a move against Ukraine.

In a public statement released by US President Biden on Tuesday, he made it clear that American forces would not be moving into Ukraine but would be moved to Europe in the “near term.”

The White House has also urged the Americans to leave Ukraine and claimed that the situation in terms of security in the region “can deteriorate with little notice.”

“There are reports Russia is planning significant military action against Ukraine. The security conditions, particularly along Ukraine’s borders, in Russia-occupied Crimea, and in Russia-controlled eastern Ukraine, are unpredictable and can deteriorate with little notice,” State Department travel advisory stated.

Biden also claimed that the Russian invasion of Ukraine is a kind of operation not seen in Europe since World War II.

“If he were to move in with all those forces, it would be the largest invasion since World War II,” Biden said.

Furthermore, Biden believes if the invasion happens, it would lead to  “enormous consequences”

“There will be enormous consequences if he were to go and invade … for Russia. Not only in terms of economic consequences and political consequences, but there would be enormous consequences worldwide.” Biden claimed.
