US President Joe Biden had to take a mulligan while he’s on a vacation in St. Croix last December after his golf ball went rogue.

According to the reports, the ball was later recovered by an 8-year-old boy after the Secret Service agents and Commander-in-Chief failed to find it.

In an exclusive report released by New York Postc, the “80-year-old president was golfing at the Buccaneer Golf Course in Christiansted with his 16-year-old grandson Hunter when he lost his ball.”

In addition, Reuters also published an exclusive report  where photos showed the duffer in chief in a white polo shirt and blue hat, looking for the golf ball in the shrubbery.

The photos also showed the President being joined in the search by a pair of Secret Service agents.

Amid the thorough search for the ball, an 8-year old islander, who was on the course with his parents, eventually found and scooped it up and gave them to the President.

In an official statement released by Ellie DelGiacco, an oncologist on the island, she revealed that her son, Dominick was “very excited” upon spying the ball from a golf cart that he was riding in with his parents.

According to DelGiacco, “We were going to town to play tennis and we heard the president was playing golf that day. So we took the golf cart and as we were driving we found a golf ball on the side of the road.”

Her husband Mike DelGiacco also claimed that the ball was about 15 feet off the course’s first hole and noted that the shot “wasn’t horrendous.”

In addition, the family also declared that they would happily return the ball if President Biden would want to have it back but otherwise planned to keep it as a memento.

Moreover, like other presidents prior to Biden’s administration, he has been a frequent golfer and often took in a game during vacations.

After Biden spent his Christmas at the White House, Biden and his family have been vacationing in St. Croix.

In a report released by the New York Post, President Biden is not scheduled to return to Washington until January 2 of this year.
