Biden Continues To Call Pro-Life Officials Extreme

US President Joe Biden continued to push for his agenda, calling pro-life officials “extremists.”

Recently, the president warned several members of his task force on access to abortion to beware of Republicans ‘extreme’ policies on the procedure.

On Tuesday, Biden released his warning during a meeting with the Reproductive Rights Task Force and warned the blue states residents about the controversy, claiming that they should be worried if Republicans win in this year’s midterm elections.

“Congressional Republicans are doubling down on extreme positions with the proposal for a national ban. Let me be clear about what that means. That means that even if you live in a state where extremist Republicans officials aren’t running the show. Your right to choose will still be at risk. Because Republicans in Congress want to pass a law that removes the right to choose for every woman, state and county.” Biden warned.

Although several Republicans have announced that the issue of abortion should be decided on a state-by-state basis, Biden failed to consider this fact and went on to call Republicans “extremists.”

He also alleged that extremist laws are already popping up across some Republican states.

“You know, it’s a really scary part that they’re already succeeding in some states. When the job decision came down, I said, and Justice Thomas warned us very plainly, that this wouldn’t stop with a women’s right to choose. It would extend the right to privacy itself in things like contraception and so, with no surprise, that we’re seeing extremist laws pop up around the country that are having a ripple effect far beyond the health rights of a pregnant woman.” Biden added.

During the meeting, the president refused to acknowledge Senator Lindsey Graham’s (R-S.C.) proposal to ban abortions after 15 weeks of a woman being pregnant.

Biden also refused to acknowledge that Graham and other Republican officials are supportive of abortion exceptions especially if the cases involve incest rape, or for when the life of the mother is at risk.

Furthermore, Biden then touched on the fact that “he believes colleges in conservative states should not deter students from what he considers basic health care.”

He also stated his goals to take steps to “protect college students and school employees in Idaho or other states where their access to contraception is at risk.”
