Democrats are starting to panic amid the reports that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is planning to run for the US presidential seat this upcoming election.
As a result, they attack him at every opportunity, twisting his statements and making “scandal” out of them. But despite these attacks, DeSantis continues to show his competence which stands in sharp contrast with Joe Biden’s continual failures.
“Construction on the Pine Island bridge has been completed today – just three days after construction began. Happy to have the state step in and help get our Pine Island residents back on their feet,” DeSantis posted on October 6 following the successful reconstruction of the Pine Island Bridge.
However, Democrats don’t care about DeSantis’ achievements. In fact, just this week, the Department of Treasury has launched an investigation into Florida Governor Ron DeSantis after he relocated illegal immigrants from the Sunshine State to Martha’s Vineyard.
.@USTreasury responded to my letter, confirming that it will investigate @GovRonDeSantis‘ use of Covid relief funds to cruelly transport immigrants from Texas to Martha’s Vineyard under false pretenses and without any consideration for their personal dignity or basic needs. https://t.co/dJJllv9Piy

The officials of the department alleged that DeSantis might have improperly used COVID-19 relief funds to do so after the Democrats on Capitol Hill filed a complaint against him.
In the report released by Politico on Tuesday, it was revealed that “the agency’s inspector general’s office confirmed to several members of Massachusetts’s Democratic congressional delegation that it planned to get this work underway as soon as possible to probe Florida’s spending as part of ongoing audits into how states have used the billions in sent to them as part of the American Rescue Plan, according to a letter provided by Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Ed Markey’s office.”
The report also revealed that in the letter sent to Markey and five House members on Oct. 7, Richard K. Delmar, deputy inspector general for the Treasury Department reportedly the lawmakers that the agency would “review the allowability of Covid-19 aid to states related to immigration generally, and will specifically confirm whether interest earned on (the) funds was utilized by Florida related to immigration activities, and if so, what conditions and limitations apply to such use.”
The recent investigation also sparked criticisms among the public after it ignored the flights which were organized by the federal government, under the policies of President Joe Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to transport illegal immigrants to cities across the country in the middle of the night.
Rep. Tom Suozzi (D-NY) then went on to complain, alleging that the Biden administration was withholding information about the underground flights, which reportedly occurred largely at night and in secret.
“We need information from the administration. Where are they sending these kids? So that the school districts can be prepared for the influx of kids, and then we need to get them money. I am just angry and frustrated.” Suozzi said early October.
