Actor Peter Dinklage slams Disney following the announcement of ‘Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs’ Remake last year
In June 2021, Disney announced the remake of the 1937 film and claimed that the production would start in 2022.

However, in a statement that Dinklage made in the “WTF With Marc Maron” podcast that aired on Monday, he pushed back against the remake and criticized Disney for the decision.
“Take a step back and look at what you’re doing there. It makes no sense to me. You’re progressive in one way and you’re still making that f***ing backward story about seven dwarfs living in a cave together, what the f*** are you doing, man?” – Dinklage ranted.
“If you tell the story of ‘Snow White’ with the most f***ed up, progressive spin on it? Let’s do it. All in,” Dinklage added.
Despite his frustration, the actor still made it clear that he meant “literally no offense to anyone” and sent “all love and respect to the actress and to the people who thought they were doing the right thing.”
