The House Oversight Committee has reportedly subpoenaed Hunter Biden and his business associates for testimony before the panel as part of its investigation into the Biden family’s shady business dealings.

According to Fox News, the committee requested Hunter, his uncle James Biden, and their business associate Rob Walker to testify for allegedly receiving dirty money from China.

The committee also sought transcripts of interviews with Sara Biden,James’ wife; Hallie Biden, the daughter-in-law of President Joe Biden, who was the widow of the president’s son, Beau, who later had a romantic relationship with Hunter; Elizabeth Secundy, Hallie Biden’s older sister; and Melissa Cohen, Hunter’s wife.

This comes after financial records obtained by the committee earlier this year revealed that several members of the Biden family, including Hallie and Sara, received more than $1 million in payments from accounts related to Walker.

Hallie paid $25,000 from Walker’s account, Robinson Walker LLC, in March 2017, according to the documents.

“The House Oversight Committee has followed the money and built a record of evidence revealing how Joe Biden knew, was involved, and benefited from his family’s influence peddling schemes. Now, the House Oversight Committee is going to bring in members of the Biden family and their associates to question them on this record of evidence,” House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said in a statement.

“Unlike the many lies President Biden told the American people about his family’s business schemes, bank records don’t lie. These records reveal how the Bidens sold Joe Biden around to the world to benefit the Biden family, including Joe Biden himself, to the detriment of U.S. interests.”

“The House Oversight Committee, along with the Committees on Judiciary and Ways and Means, will continue to follow the facts and deliver the transparency and accountability that the American people demand and deserve,” he added.

In response to the allegations, White House spokesman Ian Sams denied the story while taking a job at Comer.

“Comer’s lies and conspiracy theories are getting more desperate by the day,” Sams posted on the social media platform X. “Perhaps that’s why yesterday he admitted his probe was going ‘downhill.'”
