White House reporter Karine Jean-Pierre sparked mockery and criticisms after another reporter pointed out the shortcomings of Bidenomics in lowering costs for Americans.

Bidenomics, marked by high mortgage rates, surging inflation rates, bank collapses, pricey groceries, record-high rent, and shrinking retirement accounts, has presented significant challenges to the public.

In September, consumer prices increased by 0.4%, exceeding expectations. The core Consumer Price Index (CPI), which excludes food and energy prices, showed various significant changes in the last month: Energy costs rose by 1.5%, gas prices increased by 2.1%, fuel oil prices surged by 8.5%, and food prices also saw a 0.2% rise.

On a 12-month basis, food costs increased by 3.7%, including a 6% rise for food consumed outside the home, while energy costs dropped by 0.5%, as reported by CNBC.

“Core CPI increased 0.3% on the month and 4.1% on a 12-month basis, both exactly in line with expectations. Shelter costs were the main factor in the inflation increase, accounting for more than half the rise in CPI. Real average hourly earnings fell 0.2% on the month but were up 0.5% from a year ago.” CNBC added.

Since Joe Biden took office in January 2021, prices have soared by nearly 18%, while wages have declined by more than 3%.

During a White House press conference, a reporter questioned Karine Jean-Pierre about the concerning inflation report and the apparent failure to lower costs for the public.

“[Inflation] is hotter than expected – 3.7% year-over-year, unchanged from the prior month. Talk about all the spending last year to lower costs – the last couple of months, how has that lowering costs?” the reporter asked Jean-Pierre.

“So look, what we believe is that Biden… Bidenomics is in action! Right! You’re talking about lowering co-costs and that’s something that the president is continuing to do,” KJP responded stuttering.

The reporter continued to challenge her, stating “But people still hear Bidenomics and they see rent is up 7.4% year-over-year. Car repairs–car insurance is up almost 19% so costs are not coming down for all Americans.”

“So here’s the thing….People are still dealing with a lot!” Jean-Pierre lamented before falsely claiming “wages are up.”

Furthermore, she shifted blame onto Republicans, criticizing their desire to cut taxes.
