A video of Piers Corbyn, a British weatherman known for his controversial views, has been making waves on social media.
In the video, he walked into a cashless store called Aldi’s with the intention of paying for strawberries in cash.
“I’m going to buy some strawberries and I’m offering exactly the right amount of money here on the help desk,” Corbyn said.
“So you people take that money, £1.19, and I will take my strawberries outside,” he said.
The store’s employees, who are supposed to follow a cashless policy, tried to stop Corbyn and even threatened to call the police.
However, Corbyn remained firm and insisted that he had paid for the strawberries using legal tender, which means physical cash.

“You can’t take that!” the employees yelled.
“If you’re going to call the police, call the police,” Corbyn fired back.
“The police are on their way,” one of the employees told Corbyn.
“I have paid!” Corbyn claimed.
Despite the confrontation, Corbyn walked away with his strawberries and shared them with others outside the store.
“I paid my legal tender in this dystopian place,” Corbyn stated.
“You should be able to spend whatever you want. This is an absolute joke,” an onlooker stated.
Onlookers praised his actions, saying that people should have the freedom to spend their money however they like and that they shouldn’t comply with policies that they find ridiculous and harmful.
“This is how you resist their efforts to get rid of cash and force a CBDC. This ALDI does not accept UK money. It is debit or credit only. The man paid with £1.90, walked out and told them to call the police,” Wall Street Silver said in a statement.
The video has been seen as an example of defying what some call a globalist agenda, which aims to control the finances of everyone. Many are encouraged to use physical cash whenever possible and stand up against what they see as attempts to enslave humanity.
“They can shove their cashless society right up that dark soulless place where the sun doesn’t shine. Don’t be fooled into this digital prison. Resist every step of the way. They can go themselves,” a Twitter user said.
