President Joe Biden’s administration is facing criticism on social media for its Pride Month display at the White House, with many Twitter users arguing that it violates the US Flag Code.

The display, which was revealed in a post by Biden on Saturday, features a rainbow-colored Pride flag flanked by two American flags, all facing the South Lawn.

Twitter users claim that the display goes against a section of the US Flag Code, which states that the American flag should be in the center and at the highest point of any display featuring multiple national flags or pennants. Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton expressed his disapproval, accusing Biden of violating the Flag Code and disrespecting fallen American service members.

“To advance revolutionary transgender agenda targeting children, Biden violates basic tenet of US Flag Code and disrespects every American service member buried under its colors,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said.

The White House has not yet responded to requests for comment regarding the controversy. However, the display was prominently featured during Biden’s Pride Month celebration at the White House, where performers and speakers representing LGBT causes gathered. The event recognized the bravery and inspiration of the Pride community, both within the US and worldwide.

First Lady Jill Biden addressed the attendees, acknowledging the challenges that lie ahead and the opposition that seeks to hinder progress. She commended the bravery of those in attendance, emphasizing the importance of unity and courage.

President Biden echoed her sentiments, praising the LGBT community as some of the most inspiring individuals he has encountered. He emphasized the power of collective progress and expressed pride in the United States of America.

“You know, we all move forward when we move together with your joy, with your pride lighting the way. So today, let us proudly remember who we are – the United States of America.” Biden claimed.

While the display at the White House has sparked controversy online, the Biden administration has not yet responded to the allegations that it violates the US Flag Code §7. (e), which reads, “The flag of the United States of America should be at the center and at the highest point of the group when a number of flags of States or localities or pennants of societies are grouped and displayed from staffs.”
