The criminal investigation of President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, is allegedly being thwarted by federal prosecutors, according to a whistleblower with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
In a report by Just The News, the agent would give comprehensive justifications to congressional tax-writing committees regarding a major tax charge case, as written in a letter to Congress from the whistleblower’s lawyer, Mark Lytle.
Despite the fact that the whistleblower made no mention of Hunter, Just The News has confirmed that the claims relate to a probe of Hunter by Trump appointee and Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss.
It was written that the agent witnessed how the Department of Justice (DOJ) used “preferential treatment and politics” to thwart any efforts to charge Hunter with a crime. If proven, this would go against Merrick Garland, the attorney general, who had previously stated that the DOJ would not be part of the ongoing investigation of Hunter.
Rep. James Comer (R-KY), chairman of the House Oversight Committee, claimed that the Biden administration may have engaged in “obstruction of justice.”
“It’s deeply concerning that the Biden Administration may be obstructing justice by blocking efforts to charge Hunter Biden for tax violations. The House Committee on Oversight and Accountability has been following the Bidens’ tangled web of complex corporate and financial records.” Comer stated.

“It’s clear from our investigation that Hunter and other members of the Biden family engaged in deceptive, shady business schemes to avoid scrutiny as they made millions from foreign adversaries like China,” his statement continued.
Lytle asserted that his client is a career law enforcer who doesn’t use social media or have any political prejudices, and that if given the opportunity to testify before Congress, his client will present witnesses to back up his assertions of political meddling.
Lytle certainly added that his client will be able to discuss the sessions he attended with both agents and prosecutors as well as how he put together written summaries of those encounters and forwarded them to IRS personnel and occasionally to other agents.
Hunter has confessed that he has been the subject of a criminal tax inquiry since December 2020. Approximately $2 million in past-due tax bills were paid by Hunter in 2022, as mentioned by his attorney, who also confidently claimed that Hunter would be absolved of all criminal wrongdoing.
