U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) blasted US President Joe Biden and the latter’s foreign policies, arguing that they caused America’s oldest ally to support China.
Recently, Cruz slammed the US President on Twitter, alleging that Biden’s policies have driven France to support the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
The Republican referred to the controversial remarks released by French President Emmanuel Macron, urging both Europe and France not to support Taiwan as the United States does.
Macron’s comments made headlines and sparked controversy after French Newspaper Les Echos and Politico Europe published his remarks.
During an interview with the media outlets, Macron claimed that “The question we need to answer, as Europeans, is the following: is it in our interest to accelerate (a crisis) on Taiwan? No.”
Stunning. Even the left-wing leaders of Europe—whom Biden has assiduously courted (and obsequiosly ass-kissed)—are openly screwing the U.S.

“The worst thing would be to think that we Europeans must become followers on this topic and take our cue from the U.S. agenda and a Chinese overreaction.” Macron added.
The French President also argued that his country, and its neighbors are at risk, getting “caught up in crises that are not ours.”
“We, Europeans, must wake up. Our priority is not others’ agendas in all regions of the world,” Macron argued.
In response to the French President’s striking remarks, Cruz called the former’s comments “stunning,” arguing that the European leaders Biden has “courted” are ripping off the United States.

Cruz was not the only American legislator to criticize Macron’s comments. In fact, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) also blasted Macron and asked the latter if his remarks spoke for all of Europe.
Rubio also urged other European nations to be transparent about their objectives.
In addition, White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby also said that the two countries have a “terrific bilateral cooperation.”
“We’re focused on… making sure that together we’re meeting the national security requirements of both countries,” Kirby said in a statement.
In a recent interview with CNN, Taiwan’s Foreign Minister Joseph Wu denounced China’s actions and warned the world that China is preparing a war against Taiwan.
“Look at the military exercises, and also their rhetoric, they seem to be trying to get ready to launch a war against Taiwan,” Wu claimed.
