The Federal Bureau of Investigation is slammed for the alleged politicization of the agency.

The federal authorities are being accused of spying on a Conservative journalist, prompting Republican lawmakers in the House of Representatives to investigate the allegations.

The controversy arose after The New York Times published a report on March 24, alleging that a woman named Jen Loh was an informant who was embedded in the Proud Boys.

In the report published by News Ready on the said allegation, it was revealed that “the alleged hate group is at the center of the January 6 controversy, and several members are on trial for sedition, with at least one of them pleading guilty. The Times alleged Loh got very close to members of the group and their families, even attending a prayer circle with them. She denied the allegations that she worked for the federal agency or spied on the group.”

In addition to that, a Twitter account named InvestigateJ6 also posted on the platform, echoing the similar allegations.

“New York Times’ Alan Feuer confirms the story we broke yesterday. Jen Loh, National Director for LEXIT (Latino-Exit) is the FBI informant embedded within the Proud Boy defendant’s families’ prayer group,” the account tweeted.

Moreover, a reporter from the National File named Charles Downs also posted on Twitter, alleging that “the Biden FBI attempted to spy on me and I caught them.”

The National File published an article, claiming that Downs made the claim after he read the allegations against Loh and recognized the name.

Upon reading the article, he immediately went through his phone contacts and found her number saved under “Jen Loh Latinos for Trump.”

The reporter also alleged that he met Loh for the first time in May 2022 and claimed that “she asked him a number of intrusive questions, and finally, he decided to stop talking to her. Over the next several months, she allegedly continued trying to contact him,” the News Ready report added.

The journalist lamented about the FBI’s treatment of him, alleging that the latter has been eyeing him like an “enemy of the state.”

Downs also claimed that he doesn’t want “anyone to experience political violence” as he has.

Amid the controversy, several news media outlets attempted to reach out to Loh for comments. However, at the time of writing, she has not yet commented on the aforementioned allegations.
