US President Joe Biden once again puts himself in a tough situation for hunching over and creepily whispering to reporters during the recent impromptu press conference.
On Thursday, Biden repeatedly whispered to reporters to emphasize his point after being asked questions during the media conference at the White House which sparked mockery and criticisms, with critics calling it a “really creepy” presidential delivery.
In a report published by Patriot Alerts, it was revealed that “Biden hunched over his lectern on three separate occasions as he forcefully whispered to reporters at the White House East Room. While the President may have simply intended to emphasize his points while discussing a trillion-dollar infrastructure deal, the move appeared to have backfired.”
The controversy arose after PBS reporter Yamiche Alcindor asked the President regarding the additional relief for families.
“I got them $1.9 trillion in relief so far,” Biden whispered in response, before adding that “they’re going to be getting checks in the mail that are consequential this week for childcare.”

In addition, CNN reporter Phil Mattingly also asked President Biden about how the deal was brokered despite low expectations over which Biden responded in his normal voice.
“I’m not going to negotiate with the press when I’m negotiating privately with my colleagues. And these are very tough decisions. I don’t in any way dismiss what Senator [Chris] Murphy says about the environment. I don’t dismiss it at all,” the President claimed.
However, Biden whispered once again as he stooped his head while his eyes grew wider.
“I wrote the bill on the environment. Why would I not be for it?” President Biden said.
The US President then whispered bizarrely for a third time and said “pay them more. This is an employee’s bargaining chip now.”
Following the media conference, Biden sparked reactions with netizens mocking the President’s peculiar presidential “performance.”
Senator Josh Hawley’s press secretary Abigail Marone tweeted that “The Biden lean in and long whisper into the mic was very very bizarre.”
“BIDEN: Should I do the whisper thing? INTERN: Definitely,” Podcaster Chase Geiser captioned the clip.
conservative activist Brigitte Gabriel also said, “Creepy Joe is really creepy.”
“Biden’s constant whisper may be weirder than Kamala’s constant laugh,” Republican Governors Association Communication Director Jesse Hunt said in a statement.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s press secretary Doug Andres also claimed that “I don’t know how to react to that Biden whisper moment just now.”
“Joe Biden’s earpiece whispers and he whispers back,” one Twitter user said jokingly.
