US President Joe Biden is underwater as approval rating remains low.

In a new poll survey conducted by Harvard CAPS-Harris, it was revealed that the President’s approval rating is still underwater as he prepares for the upcoming election.

The poll came amid reports of Biden’s anticipated reelection bid.

It also comes amid the recent reports, exposing the President for the classified documents that were found at an old office where he used as a Vice President, at the Penn Biden Center in addition to his home in Wilmington, Del.

In the Poll survey released exclusively to The Hill on Friday, it found that only 42 percent of the participants “strongly” or “somewhat approve” of Biden’s job as America’s president.

Among the total rating, 12 percent of it were Republicans while 76 percent of Democrats and 34 percent of independents.

Since December, Biden’s approval rating has remained at 42 percent. It dropped 1 point in November from 43 percent.

In an exclusive report published by the Hill, the media outlet revealed that “while Biden received higher marks for reacting to the coronavirus pandemic — 52 percent and 46 percent approving of his job stimulating jobs, he received lower marks for handling inflation (36 percent), immigration (37 percent) and the economy (38 percent).”

“Close to two-thirds of Americans — 61 percent — say the country is on the wrong track, while 66 percent of respondents say the country’s economy is also on the wrong track,” the report added.

In an official statement released by Mark Penn, the co-director of the Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll, he explained that “the economy and immigration continue to be weak spots for Biden and on top of that has come the classified document imbroglio that has taken away the post midterm glow. His state of the union is a critical speech for him and whether he will reach across the aisle.”

On Thursday, Biden told reporters that “there’s no there there,” despite how his administration received backlash as to why the documents were only found just days before the November midterms.

The Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey that was released on Friday, was reportedly conducted from January 18 to 19 with a total of 2,050 registered voters surveyed.
