New Twitter CEO Elon Musk exposed insider communications, exposing more information on Hunter Biden stories that were previously censored by the previous Twitter administration.
Several devastating internal Twitter files, detailing the information on Hunter Biden Laptop controversies were released after Elon Musk exposed the social media giant top-level workers for its censorship.
The new CEO revealed that a small group of top-level executives under the previous CEO and founder Jack Dorsey have decided to brand the Post’s story as “hacked material” despite lacking any evidence to support the allegations.
The new controversy arose after Musk posted a link to independent journalist Matt Taibbi’s account, exposing Twitter’s shady censorship decision through “posting what appeared to be redacted emails between Twitter employees,” New York Post reported.

According to Tabbi, the censorship of The Post’s story was made “at the highest levels of the company,” but made it clear that Dorsey was not involved.
“The internal communications reveal just how much was done without the knowledge of CEO Jack Dorsey, and how long it took for the situation to get ‘unf–ked’ (as one ex-employee put it) even after Dorsey jumped in.” Taibbi claimed.
The journalist also added that Twitter’s former head of legal, policy, and trust Vijaya Gadde allegedly played a “key role” in the decision to censor stories on Hunter Biden.
“Damning emails and comments from former Twitter employees showed that “everyone knew” the social media giant’s suppression of The Post’s scoops about Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop. “was f—ed,” the Post added.
According to an ex-employee, “Hacking was the excuse, but within a few hours, pretty much everyone realized that wasn’t going to hold. But no one had the guts to reverse it.”
Another employee also told Taibbi that “they just freelanced it.”
In an apparent internal email to colleagues, Trenton Kennedy, a communications official reportedly wrote “I’m struggling to understand the policy basis for marking this as unsafe” to which Twitter Deputy General Counsel Jim Baker responded, claiming that it was “reasonable” to assume materials were hacked and that “caution is warranted.”
This came after Twitter’s ex-safety chief Yoel Roth exposed the social media giant, claiming that they previously restricted people from sharing the bombshell story.
“It’s widely reported that I personally directed the suppression of the Hunter Biden story. That is not true. It is absolutely, unequivocally untrue. We didn’t know what to believe, we didn’t know what was true, there was smoke — and ultimately for me, it didn’t reach a place where I was comfortable removing this content from Twitter,” Roth claimed.
“But it set off every single one of my finely tuned APT28 ‘hack and leak campaign’ alarm bells,” he added.
Roth also admitted that the censorship on Hunter’s story on the platform was a mistake.
“In my opinion, yes. It went off the rails in exactly the ways that we anticipated,” Roth said regarding the since-delayed rollout of the new verification system under Elon Musk’s ownership.
