The Israeli woman who was allegedly attacked by a Secret Service in Jerusalem last July, reportedly filed a civil lawsuit on Monday.
The woman identified as Tamar Ben Haim has filed the case before the DC federal court against the unidentified agent over the alleged assault which took place in an alleyway while she was walking home around 1 a.m. last July 12.
According to the 30-year old graphic designer, the man who she saw allegedly had a gun and “began hitting and slapping her” and she thought “that these were her last moments on Earth.”
In the court documents, the complainant also claimed that he “held Tamar tightly, hit her on her chest, repeatedly, slapped her, causing her earring and earphone to fall to the ground.”
Amid the altercation, Tamar reportedly screamed for help but no one came until a man accompanying the accused pulled him off her before leaving the scene. Later on, she found out that the accused who had just come from a bar, was an off-duty Secret Service agent doing advance work for Biden’s visit, the filing claims.
Following the incident, the Secret Service employee was sent back to the US after the department was informed, alleging that the employee was “allegedly involved in a physical encounter.”
The agency revealed that “the employee was briefly detained and questioned by Israeli police, who released him without charges. The employee has returned to the United States” and made it clear that the alleged assault was not sexual in nature.
Reports revealed that the employee was also a member of Secret Service’s Counter Assault Team and announced that the employee’s access to the agency’s systems and facilities has already been suspended while the authorities conduct an investigation.
In an interview with Fox News shortly after the attack, Ben Haim claimed that a “large man” punched her “over and over” like a “punching bag.”
“I was in total shock. He was so strong … I couldn’t even attempt to defend myself. In my head, I was thinking, ‘You won’t survive this. This is the end of your life,” she said at the time.
Moreover, in the court document, she also revealed that she was forced to remain in bed for three days, unable to move from the pain while the agent’s access to Secret Service systems and facilities was suspended while the agency investigated, it said at the time.
Immediately after the Secret Service controversy broke to the public, Biden once again became controversial with several Americans blaming his leadership for it.
“Another example of Joe’s failed leadership spreading across not just the country but all agencies.” A commenter lamented under the New York Post’s article.
“This admin has accomplished all the lewd list items that they accused the previous admin of. They have doubled down on that list if you add in that heathen of a presidential son.” Another commenter claimed. .
“A close friend of Biden’s druggie son was sent home from Israel for attacking an Israeli Citizen – Female – Apparently Biden smiled and said – “Well secret service need to let off steam, just like my son. It’s just high spirits.” Netizen, Adrian Edwards added.
