US President Joe Biden stumbled and snapped at protesters during his speech as he campaigned for New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D), held in Yonkers, just north of New York City.

On Sunday, President Biden made another controversial remark while speaking at a rally for New York Governor Hochul.

The President made some statements on issues at stake in the 2022 election as he urged those in attendance to vote for Democrats on Election Day.

“New York, you got two days, two days to make sure the rest of your state knows the good that they’ve got in Kathy Hochul,” Biden declared.

“[Hochul’s] opponent’s plan for public safety is to put more guns on the street. He opposed red flag laws which would have taken guns out of the hands of people who pose a danger to themselves and others. Look, what kind of sense does that make?” Biden added.

Moreover, Biden also blasted Republicans’ “trickle-down economics” and even blamed former US President Donald Trump for the slumping economy.

“I said from the beginning my objective when I ran was to build an economy from the bottom up and the middle out, and I tell you what, it’s a fundamental shift and it’s working compared to the MAGA-mega Republican trickle-down economics. You saw what happened last time under my predecessor — the economy, he left it in ruins,” the president lamented.

However, during his last-ditch effort to try to come to Hochul’s rescue, staving off GOP challenger Lee Zeldin after the latter catches up to her in polls, the president repeatedly said “no more drilling” and tripped onstage.

Biden’s statement comes as a climate protester heckled him in which the confused-sounding Biden tried to assuage and return to his speech.

“No more drilling. There is no more drilling. I haven’t formed any new drilling,” Biden snapped.

During the event attended by hundreds of supporters and protesters, Biden, at one point stumbled on the stage and appeared to lose his footing.

“Whoops,” the president said while he was trying to recover his stance.

This wasn’t the first time that such an incident happened.

Last June, the 79-year-old president fell off his bike. He also stumbled while walking up the stairs to Air Force One last year.
