A left-wing organization was exposed for allegedly threatening Americans who don’t vote ahead of the midterm elections.

In an exclusive report released by Daily Caller, the left-wing organization America Votes appeared to use threats to bully American voters in Nevada into casting their votes in the Nov. 8 midterm elections, through distributed mailers.

The Nevada Independent CEO Jon Ralston, exposed the group after sharing photos of the mailers that say, “Who you vote for is private, but whether you vote is a matter of public record. We will be reviewing public records after the election to determine whether or not you joined your neighbors in voting?”

He then blasted and called out America Votes and said, “You can’t be serious, @AmericaVotes? Is this the progressive way? Damn. (That’s a period at the end of the second sentence in the mailer, not a question mark. Too much or not enough coffee).”

The mailer became controversial, sparking criticisms among the netizens.

“Yeah I thought that mailer was weird. I couldn’t figure out whether it was coming from the right or the left. Creepy way to remind people to vote for sure,” one netizen said.

“The horror! Guilting people into doing their civic duty! Sometimes I think Americans can’t be bothered with democracy. Maybe a dictatorship suits America 2020 better (I am being sardonic!)” a Twitter user added.

“Lol. That almost makes me not want to vote just to let their asses know, they don’t and won’t create fear in me. But, since I’ve been following politics for several years, I unlike some that don’t and choose not to vote, I’ll vote knowing the importance,” another netizen lamented.

According to the National Conference of State Legislatures, “Voter registration records are made available to political parties in all 50 states,” Daily Caller revealed.

“Most states make the information available to the public upon request. At least 18 states keep track of whether or not individuals previously voted,” the report added as per the U.S. Election Assistance Commission.

Amid the controversy, a spokesman for America Votes told the Daily Caller that “there is a lot at stake in this election and we encourage everyone to make their voice heard. Voters should make a plan to return their ballots before Election Day on Nov. 8,” after the America Votes received nearly $129 million from the Sixteen Thirty Fund in 2020, the Sixteen Thirty Fund’s federal tax form claimed, the report revealed.
